Yes, definitely. Because they already are! In fact there are many hydrogen fueled vehicles already driving around right now. In California for instance there are many hydrogen fuel stations for filling up. The cost of the cars is high so only quite rich people have them at the moment. But with a serious effort at mass production the prices will go down to more manageable levels and they will become more common. At the moment the oil companies are so dominant that wide-spread adoption of hydrogen cars is made difficult.

Wikipedia has this list: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_fuel_cell_vehicles of all the hydrogen fueled makes of car there are at the moment. Of course they look like normal cars, but I was looking at some of the hydrogen sports cars and they are really cool. This one looks a bit like the batmobile to me: and this Honda looks really futuristic !

Like Evan said, they already are.

I think as oil starts to run out car companies will start to invest more and more money into hydrogen powered cars and other environmentally friendly methods. We need to be careful though, if the hydrogen or electricity used in electric cars is generated using coal and oil power plants it’s almost as bad as using petrol!

Well as Evan has answered they already exist.
So I think it would be good if they were cheaper and more widespread and then we wouldn’t be so reliant on oil.
