• Question: after womens pregnancy some of them have stretch marks. how does the skin stretch?

      It’s not just pregnancy that can cause stretch marks. If a person gets bigger faster than their skin can grow they can get stretch marks – people who gain a lot of weight from eating too much or body builders can even get stretch marks on their arms because their muscles get so big so quickly!

      I actually got stretch marks when I was a teenager because I grew about 60cm in 2 years! Basically, my skeleton was growing faster than my skin which damaged it slightly. They’ve disappeared now though.

      I also got stretch marks when I was growing as a teenager. It is just something that happens if you grow quickly, and when you are pregnant your belly grows quickly! 🙂
