• Question: As an experiment, I recently planted cress seeds in different colour cases to see which cress grew the best. However, after the experiment, I up rooted the plants (and had them in a sandwich!) The next week, I found the empty containers, and in some the soil had turned green! Is there a scientific explanation for this? Thank You Will

      hey 08wjeffrey,
Did the cress taste good in your sandwich? Without seeing the actual soil, all i can suggest is that it is some kind of mould growth from the wet soil.

What do you think? did it look like mould?

Yes, it does sound a bit like mould. But without a picture of it, it is hard to know for sure. 😀
