• Question: Do you beleive that in the future there will be floating citys or other floating things?

      If we needed floating cities then I’m sure we’d find a way to do it!

      I suspect this is unlikely in the short term future. But who knows what will happen in the long term future and as Ryan says if we end up needing this kind of technology humanity will put a lot of effort into trying.

      If we ran out of space on Earth then we might do this. Physically there is no reason why we wouldn’t be able. We know that in crowded cities to make more space we “build up” and make tall buildings to fit all the people in. Making floating building and things would be another way of “building up” so I can imagine we might do it when the population of Earth has increased so much that we are running short of space.
