Great question. Yes, I do. Certainly we will discover inhabitable planets in our life times, perhaps quite soon. And in a way Mars and places like Europa (a moon of Jupiter) are almost inhabitable, and maybe we could make them (or a patch of them) more inhabitable for us.

Of course in the long-run we HAVE TO find somewhere else to live. The Earth will be destroyed by the Sun eventually (but not for 4.5 billion years). Perhaps more worrying to me is that we end up killing ourselves or destroying our environment. We have way too many weapons on the planet, more than enough to kill everyone! And our environment is very fragile. So we really do have some motivation to go and find somewhere else to live, apart from of course sheer curiosity! 😀
