Question: Have you ever seen a supernova?

You mean happening live? I haven’t. But I have seen several supernova just after they have gone off. After they go off loads of astronomers point their telescopes at them because the light from the supernova can last for weeks even. So even if you miss the start (and you have to be pretty lucky to see the exact time of the explosion) you can still see it afterwards. 😀
