I have not met any of the other scientists in this zone – although I would like to as the stuff they all do sounds very interesting. I’m sure that we will meet some day, maybe all the “I’m a Scientist” scientists will plan a meet-up or something.
In the other zones I know two scientists also taking part, who work at Jodrell Bank – Jen Gupta (Cobalt zone) and Chris Jordan (Titanium zone), so if anybody reading this is in those zones you should check them out 😉
Not in this zone, no. But, a friend at the University of Glasgow is in another zone (Catherine O’Connor), so we’ve been comparing notes! I think we get together at the end of these 2 weeks, so that will be fun.
As you may have noticed from Evan and Kath’s answers none of us Iron zone scientists have met. But I have known other scientists who have done this in previous years.
Good question that! It isn’t possible to go back in time but if it were I don’t think I would do it. You could change something really important by accident! Have you seen the Back to the Future movies? 🙂
