      hey 08soakley,
To become a food scientist, i would think its very important for you to study chemistry and biology at A levels, and get good grades to allow you to enrol onto a university course. Food Science is a subject of its own which you can study, or maybe you’d prefer to study chemistry alone and specialise in food when you get a job.
What i do is called product development, which means i trained as a chef before training to be a scientist. This is easy to do, because it means you can not do A levels, but you need to enrol on a higher course in catering such as a qualification called a BTEC, which equals the same grades as 2 A levels.

If your thinking about it, i can send you over some more infomation or maybe speak with your careers teacher. The best universities for Food Science, is UWIC, Leeds and Reading Uni.
Let me know if there is anything else i can help with! 🙂

      Good Luck!!!
