• Question: how far down do the subs go

      The submarines in my lab are only prototypes so they don’t usually go any deeper than our 1.5 meter deep swimming pool! One day though, I hope they will be used in the ocean and swimming as deep as any other submarine.

      Submarines with humans inside rarely go below 100 meters but the record, I believe, is around 1000 meters deep! Robotic submarines though have almost no limits and can go into the deepest of oceans.
