This website has a list of universities that offer a marine biology course:

It might be better to take a general biology course and specialise later, I’m not completely sure!

Unfortunately, I can’t have any pets where I live. Though I’d really like a peacock mantis shrimp!

I’ve known people who’ve done Marine Biology at Bangor University and at Southampton University, both are good universities for the subject. You can do marine biology straight after your A-levels if you want to, or as Ryan says do a general biology course and specialise later – if you are really interested in marine biology now, you might find some of the more general biology course a bit dull though. The website Ryan has given you should have lots of info that should help 🙂

I’m also not allowed pets where I live.

I think the website Ryan has mentioned is a good one to look at. And from what Ailsa has said it kind of makes sense that the good universities for marine science are on the coast! You can also check which universities are good at which subjects (and in what parts of the UK) on this website:

I don’t have any pets, but I do like turtles – I think they are kind of cool. Also, I may get some terrapins one day, as I always liked those little guys. 🙂
