• Question: Is it possible to use genetics to change the flavours of food, for example producing an apple that tastes like strawberries? And would the resultant product be safe to consume?

      hey 08mhook,
Im no expert in genetics i am afraid. but i think its very possible to do. Scientists have already used genetics to change the shape or colour of things, I imagine they can do the same for taste.
One of the other scientist who i work with has experience in this kind of thing. I will speak with him when I see him tommorrw and get back to you. 🙂
