• Question: is there a star named after you? and when you went school did you always wanted to be an astronomer?

      Good questions!

      Firstly no, there is not a star named after me. It is very difficult to get a star named after you – you have to do loads of important work in astronomy to be picked to have something named after you. Also, things get named after you after you die so I don’t want anything named after me yet ’cause I plan to be on Earth for ages yet!

      When I was in school I did not want to be an astronomer. I didn’t know what I wanted to be really. I was interested in astronomy and physics but didn’t know I would do it for a job until after I left school. What do you want to be? I didn’t know what I wanted to be when I was your age! 🙂

    i’m not totally sure what i want to be yet but i do have a thing for the stars and moon because i just love looking for the star constellations and the moon is just beautiful in the night sky. 🙂
