Biochemistry is the study of the chemistry of life.

For example how we get energy from sugar, how we store information in our DNA, why diseases make us ill, how medicines work and how our immune systems make us better. And all types of questions about the chemistry of how we work (but not only us, plants and bacteria too).

Biochemistry is an interesting science as it is one that needs knowledge of chemistry, biology and physics – which makes it ideal if you like all science 🙂
