Myself and a friend made a plan that we would see as many teams in the Greater Manchester area as we could so we went to lots of games …
So in the last season I have been to see games at Man. Utd. (~10 games, I lived 1 mile from Old Trafford until this February), Bury FC (1 game), FC United of Manchester (~5 games, a small team in Manchester with GREAT fans! They make more noise than Man. Utd. even though they have 40 times less fans!), Rochdale, Oldham FC, Hyde FC, Altrincham and Droylsden (they have birds hanging from the stands and the fans dress like butchers!!). Probably some of those teams you might not have heard much about as they are in low leagues but it was great fun to go to stadiums of all different sizes and shapes and getting lost on the way to the way a few times!
So I am a little bit of a football fan you can see 🙂

I’m from Hounslow so its gotta be Brentford! I had a season ticket ages ago, and have seen them at Wembley in the play-offs. They’ve had better years…

My family is from South Wales and as a result I was not bought up a football supporter. I’m a rugby fan. I obviously support my national side passionately – Wales (even when they are rubbish) and tend to vaguely follow the welsh regions as not living in Wales means there isn’t a lot of coverage of the games.

I don’t support a football team. I’m afraid I don’t really like the sport, plus I think they get paid far too much! 🙂
