It is the thing banging against my office window right now! 😉

Well you have probably been soaked by a few rain showers so you know it is water. But why does it rain on us? Well clouds are made of liquid water and frozen ice crystals. When it gets hot enough in the atmosphere, up where the clouds are, to melt the frozen water in the clouds, it comes down! This is why it will often rain when it is a reasonably high temperature. Colder temperatures and you get snow and hail etc.

      😀
