• Question: what is the coolest and maddest thing youve ever done ! :D

      oh goodness!
      I suppose for me the answer would be when i did a skydive for charity! I was terrified!! – but the best experience of my life… i want to certainly do it again!!

      I went cage diving in South Africa with Great White Sharks – I loved it! The trip was really interesting and I learnt a lot about the lives of sharks

      Probably some of the mountain climbing I did in the swiss alps, all without any safety equipment!

      Well I’m going to tell you the coolest and maddest thing I’ve done in the lab.

      Which is freezing things in liquid nitrogen and then smashing them. Picking up rapidly melting fragments of banana from everywhere is definitely less fun though 😉

      I’ve climbed on massive telescopes, done a bungee jump, travelled to many countries, …

      but I think the coolest thing I’ve done is become an astronomer! Others would say it was the maddest thing I have done because some people think you should go for a “secure” job, even if you hate the job! Well, I disagree with them. I prefer my cool job. 🙂
