Well there are loads of jobs for which GCSE science would be useful – obviously all science jobs! So from botanist to astronomer to astronaut to working in medicine to marine biologist to pharmacist. Way too many science jobs to list! But also engineering requires science. But even if you don’t do a job like that a basic level of understanding in science is extremely important! It would not be nice to be wandering around thinking “I don’t know how that works” all the time – would it? I think everyone should know how a plane flies, why the sky is blue, etc. That is important knowledge for living your life! Science also teaches us to question things, to test things and to not just believe what we hear. I think this is very important for everyone.

      What do you think?
