      hey!!
Food is a little different to lets say a chemical reaction in the lab. Cake cannot be seperated back into its original ingrediants, because of the way the ingrediants work togther. Egg changes by a process known as coagulation, this is when the protien changes its structure.

With other foods such as salad dressings its very easy to seperate the ingrediants back out – for instance oil and water will seperate naturally

Does this answer your question? 🙂
