• Question: why do u think we think other langueges are so weird?

      Hmmm, I don’t think other languages are weird! Sometimes they can sound very strange to your ear if you are used to English. They can also use sounds that aren’t in English (like rolled r’s and throaty g’s and c’s). Did you know that when you are born you have the ability to make all the sounds for all languages but you lose it and only keep the ability to make the sounds you hear in your first few months! 🙂

      I don’t think other languages are weird either, I find them quite fascinating – I always try and learn a bit of the language of any country I travel to, it’s fun!

      People who speak other languages might find English weird – what’s normal for one person, isn’t always what’s normal for another.

      When I hear people speaking other languages I find it really hard to imagine what they’re talking about. I often wish I could speak more languages!

      I’ve travelled around quite a lot and work with many people from many different countries so I’m used to people not speaking English and don’t find them weird! 🙂
