• Question: Why do we make movies like star wars and star treck with futre tecnolagy when why don't we use it now?

      Well we don’t actually have the technology in Star Trek. It is just fake and uses a lot of special effects and photo shop! Actually some of the technology in these shows is impossible and could never really exist.

      You are right – if we had this technology we would definitely use it. I would anyway! We would be fools not to use transports and replicators if we had them! 😀

      Yes, Evan is right we don’t have the technology you see in those films – just the imagination to dream it up 🙂
      There is no way we wouldn’t use it if it exsist – it would be too useful 🙂

      To be honest, a lot of technology that’s in star trek actually looks old fashioned compared to what we have today!

      You should watch some of the original series with Captain Kirk and compare their communicators with something like the iPhone!

      Actually, there are many new products or inventions that, before they were invented for real, existed in science fiction. Often inventors are fans of these movies and end up trying to build what they used to see in their favourite film!
