• Question: Why does lightening never strike twice?

      It does though! Lightning does strike the same thing many times. That is what lightning rods on tall buildings are designed for – to be hit by lightning so that other things (like us!) are not. This is just a saying really which means you are unlikely to have a bad thing happen to you twice. 😀

      There’s no difference in the probability of lightening striking somewhere and the probability that it will strike the same place again.

      There are even people in the world that claim to have been struck by lightning more than once! I bet they don’t believe lightning never strikes twice. 😉
