These kind of drinks are acidic which can dissolve your teeth over time. Also, they’re usually full of sugar which feeds harmful bacteria living on your teeth in the same way sweets do.

Although these drinks can be very bad for your teeth, often other foods are even worse because they can get stuck in your teeth for much longer than a drink will.

I’m not really an expert though, you could ask your dentist the next time you see them!

What Ryan has said is correct. Fizzy drinks are acidic and will dissolve your teeth and the sugars feed the nasty types of bacteria in your mouth and they will also damage your teeth.

And I agree that your dentist will have a lot more information for you 🙂

A good tip is to drink with a straw so fizzy drinks don’t mess with your teeth as much. Also, things like crisps are actually worse for your teeth as they stick to and in between them and the bacteria love that!
